about saavan

Where the internet gets a little more desi.

Saavan ’26 is the online fest of IIT Madras, bringing four days of celebration, competition, creativity and culture straight to your screens. From 24th to 27th September, get ready for a vibrant desi downpour packed with 40+ events, tournaments, workshops and guest sessions.

This year, Saavan embraces Desi Maximalism. A celebration of everything bold, colourful, expressive and unapologetically desi. With something for every kind of enthusiast, the fest brings together the best of Sports, Culturals and Technicals, creating a space where ideas meet talent, and tradition meets the digital world.

Whether you’re here to compete, create, learn, perform or simply soak in the chaos, there’s always something waiting for you.

Welcome to Saavan ’26!
